Is there any incompatibility problem in migrating from a "MariaDB" db to a "mysql" db?
To do so, is it sufficient to do the download of the "MariaDB" db and then load it into the mysql environment?
I do not think there will be any incompatibility problems from a Joomla viewpoint. As we have written a couple of times in this discussion, you need to export the database tables from your MariaDB database and import them into your MySQL database.

You will then need to set your Laragon server to use MySQL instead of MariaDB; that's how it would be done if you were using Wampserver.

If you require personal technical support, there are people who may be able to do that for you.
